Lightweight fire protection filing cabinets, designed to solve the
critical problem of high capacity/high weight storage on the low
floorloadings of both modern and traditional buildings. Phoenix
lateral
fire files offer substantially lower floor loadings than existing
vertical files and up to 80% greater total capacity.
Phoenix
offer the unique option of lateral designs for fire resistant files,
tested to withstand fires in excess of 927°C for 1Hr and strong
enough to beat the crushing effect of a fire ravaged building collapsing
upon it.
Every
file meets and passes the world’s most difficult fire test
standard, the American Underwriter’s UL350 - 60 Fire/Impact/Explosion
Test. This requires not only fire endurance testing, but also withstand
the explosive effect of gas or sudden exposure to critically accelerating
temperatures.
The
Phoenix 2410 Series employs the latest aerospace technology to achieve
unparalleled protection with cost effective, high density multiple
filing combinations, including mixes of A3, A4, A5, foolscap prints
or computer tapes, disks, reels and optical media*. All drawers
are complete with filing cradles.
Styled
to blend with any office environment, they are painted in an attractive,
pale, white-textured finish.
Available
in two or four drawer versions, all our files feature automatic
locking with a single security lock acting on all drawers. We also
realise how deceptive the actual weight of paper can be and ensure
that each drawer is capable of carrying a colossal 100 kg. of filing,
way beyond standard requirements.
Also
available as a combination ‘mixed media file’. Data
media such as computer disks and tapes require added protection
from heat and moisture. Extending the fire files capability to cater
for this requirement is the media chest. This unique data protection
unit, fitting snugly into
the bottom drawer, provides for ease of use and ensures maximum
protection for your invaluable data.
